K.B. CLARKE RESTORES UNLUCKY HOUSE
In the summer of 2001, K.B. Clarke was contacted by a local insurer to provide emergency services for a large fire which had occurred in the South end of Halifax. Apparently this was the third fire at this residence in only 10 years. The fire was apparently as a result of a neighbors sun porch reflecting the sun which ignited the roof shingles. K.B. Clarke reconstructed the roof and upper walls while at the same time saving extensive tearout on the lower levels which was virtually unaffected.
