K.B. CLARKE AWARDED THIRD STRAIGHT TWO YEAR CARPENTRY, MASONRY AND ROOFING CONTRACTS FOR 2003 AND 2004
On March 24, 2002 K.B. Clarke was notified that they had again been awarded a Standing Offer Agreement to receive up to 25 % of all maintenance, repairs and remodelling in the trades of Carpentry, Masonry and Roofing on all CFB Halifax living quarters. K.B. Clarke has bid and maintained this contract for over six years since the inception of the Canadian Forces Housing Agency and have completed millions of dollars of work in this time. Every year previously and now every two years the Department of National Defence on behalf of CFHA has put this contract out to public tender based on pricing, experience and manpower and awarded three contractors in every trade a percentage of all their contracts based on tendering a percentage (+ or -) of established unit rates.
