K.B. Clarke has 24 staff certified in Mould Remediation
Due to the technical advances and liability issues involving water damage and cleanup of mould impacted materials K.B. Clarke arranged for Mr. Kim Strong, M.Sc., President of Maritime Testing and licensed instructor for the AIAQ, to train and certify 24 of their staff in the Microbial Remediation Supervisors Course.
With many Restoration companies a few persons are trained to manage microbial cleanups, but K.B. Clarke felt that to maintain their leadership role the more educated staff they had, the better their quality, efficiency and ability to service multiple customers. As a leader in this industry it’s paramount that our staff know how to protect themselves and our customers from the dangers involved in this type of work.
The Microbial Remediation Supervisors Course primarily identify Fungi types, methods for containing the contaminants, Personal Protective Equipment to use, products used to clean and reduce antimicrobial growth, Air Quality Testing and essentially managing the cleanup of Microbial Contaminants to safe levels through proper practices.
