K.B. Clarke Provides Restoration Services to 60 Unit apartment

One of the first calls we received after Hurricane Juan was from a distressed building manager of an apartment complex whom had a huge section of roof and wall missing, resulting in 60 tenants having no homes and severe water damage throughout.

K.B. Clarke Project Manager, Brian Janes arranged immediately for a crew of over forty to start interior removals of saturated building components, while at the same time arranging scaffolding set up to allow for temporary tarping of the building. Because the largest tarped area was primarily located at a juncture between the roof and wall area it was nearly impossible to keep the elements out so we arranged for masons, roofers and steeplejacks to work together on permanent reconstruction of the exterior which was finished nearly 3 weeks later. Total interior removals of drywall, cabinets, flooring, subfloors, insulation and drying was completed within 5 weeks ready for reconstruction. In total we removed over eighty, 40 cubic yard containers of construction debris.
