    Post Tropical Storm Noel

Saturday, November 3, 2007, Atlantic Canada was lashed with high winds and fierce rain from Post-tropical storm Noel. The Canadian Hurricane Centre warned that although Noel was a post-tropical storm, it was expected to be accompanied by hurricane force winds of up to 139 kilometres per hour and rainfall amounts in excess of 70 millimetres. The storm's massive size left thousands of Nova Scotia residents without power and with property damages ranging from downed fences to flooding and roof troubles.

K.B. Clarke staff responded to over 150 calls resulting from the storm. Working around the clock, the crews provided emergency response and temporary repairs to prevent secondary damages during the catastrophe.
Kevin Clarke, President of the company, issued a statement to the industry to advise that this during this kind of situation, “K.B. Clarke recognizes the importance of administration in the management of the claims process but anticipate that a secure, safe building is more important to their insured’s than anything else.”
We want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this very busy time.
